Si aún no conocéis Madrid Fashion Film Festival, os hablamos de este festival internacional de Fashion Film realizado, cuya 2ª edición se celebró del 3 al 6 de noviembre en Centro-Centro Cibeles, Madrid. No quisimos perdérnoslo y la verdad es que la experiencia es muy recomendable y que no pensamos perdernos su 3ª edición.
Este certamen abierto tanto a profesionales como a nuevos talentos y estudiantes del sector audiovisual, la moda y la publicidad contó con un prestigioso jurado multidisciplinar, entre los que estaban la cineasta Isabel Coixet, el director creativo de H&M Donald Schneider, el fotógrafo y realizador Eugenio Recuenco, la actriz Rossy de Palma, la directora creativa de Pedro del Hierro y la modelo Laura Ponte.
This contest open to both professionals and new talent and students audiovisual, fashion and advertising featured a prestigious multidisciplinary jury, among whom were the filmmaker Isabel Coixet, the creative director of H&M Donald Schneider, the photographer and filmmaker Eugenio Recuenco, the actress Rossy de Palma, the creative director of Pedro del Hierro and the model Laura Ponte.


In addition to seeing the exhibition of fashion films selected this year, we were lucky enough to attend two roundtable held in MADRIDFFF. “The evolving role of women in fashion and film” roundtable presented by SMODA with Odd Prieto, Laura Ponte, Carmen March, Antonio and Luis San Narciso Rubial and could see the premiere of the Fashion Film “The Journey” by Monica Menez, winner of the first edition of MadridFFF. We also attended “Making fashion celebrities” roundtable presented by Vanity Fair on the figure of the celebrity fashion productions with Lourdes Garzón, Carla Aguilar, Fiona Ferrer, Barbara Lennie and Marcin Tyszka.
Entre los fashion films seleccionados, algunos de nuestros favoritos fueron Up&Out, de Joshua Stocker y L´Osysée de Cartier, de Bruno Aveillan. El premio al Best Fashion Film a Kirsten Dunst por ‘Aspirational’, que recogió el director Matthew Frost. En este Fashion Film dos supuestas fans la abordan en la puerta de su casa y pese a lo que ella espera, después de hacerse unos cuantos selfies con ella, ni siquiera le dirigen la palabra, quedando en un segundo plano. Os dejamos aquí los tres Fashion Film para que nos digáis qué os parecen.
Among the Fashion Filmas selected, our favorites were Up & Out, by Joshua Stocker and L’Osysée Cartier, by Bruno Aveillan. The award for Best Film Fashion went to Kirsten Dunst for ‘Aspirational’, which was collected by the director Matthew Frost. This Fashion Film fans show how two teenarger addresses her on his doorstep and despite what she expected, after taking a few selfies with her, did not even run the word, remaining in the background.
